The ancient sages have said that you must love yourself before you can love others. This is true because unless you know and understand yourself, you will not be able to love others. As the saying goes, "If you want to know what is good for yourself, listen to that good sound within your heart."

"Love yourself." It's a simple but profound statement. If you don't love yourself, how can you expect to be able to fully love someone else?

If a child is not loved by the mother, that child will never love her own children; it's the same with everybody in the universe—with your friends, with those people who are closest to you. You can't love them if you don't know yourself and don't understand how your actions and thoughts affect others around you. Love for oneself is the first step to being loving toward others.

Love is a state of being and not an action; hence, it's not something we can do or make happen. We can only try to understand the nature of this state of being and then work towards achieving it. So the first step in loving ourselves is understanding our own nature and accepting ourselves as we truly are without any pretensions or delusions about who we should be, how we should look, what we should do, or even how much money we should have!

When you understand your own nature as it really is, you will no longer be trying to change it into something else; instead, you will be accepting your true self unconditionally without any reservations and without any conditions attached to it whatsoever!

This unconditional acceptance of your true self will naturally bring about a deep sense of self-love, which will gradually manifest itself in all aspects of your life, including your physical body and emotional wellness.

Meditation is the first step to knowing your true self. Love comes after meditation. Meditation is not an end in itself; it is a beginning. It begins with your awareness of what you are thinking at this moment and continues with your awareness of what you want to think next.

The goal of meditation is to develop compassion in ourselves. This comes by relating the feeling of ourselves to others who are suffering.

We begin with our own suffering, then move outward and encompass those we love who are suffering. This leads us to compassion, which allows us to treat others with greater wisdom and kindness, even when they mistreat us.

If we can develop compassion for others, we cannot be angry at them because they aren't perfect, just as we aren't perfect. We cannot expect perfection from anyone, and when we learn not to expect it, we will stop being disappointed and angry when it doesn't happen.

If you want to try meditation, just do it. You don't need any props, and you don't have to become a monk or nun. Find a quiet place and time of day when you won't be disturbed, and allow 10 minutes to focus on your breathing.

Bring your attention back whenever it wanders, and you will soon notice yourself feeling calmer and a deep sense of relaxation happening inside you that you have never experienced before.

Meditation gives an immediate experience of transcending thought—going to a place where there are no distractions and no chattering of the mind. And while it is true that life's demands will always pull you in many directions, silence is there at the center of your being, and as long as you remember it, there will be less double-tasking and less forgetting who you are.

The real purpose of meditation is not to get something; it's to lose something. It's to lose obsession; it's to lose your ego, it's to lose your illusions. Meditation will give you a relaxed mind and a relaxed body, but that's not what it's for. It is only a side effect, but that is valuable.

Most people do not understand that all that is holding them back from doing what they could or want are just illusions that have occupied their minds like an abandoned house without paying rent.

You heard the saying "They can't see the forest for all the trees". Humans can't see their own potential and truth for all the illusions they carry around.

One day they want something and the next day they say that they do NOT want the same. Because their illusions weren't met -and they never will.

I see it every day in my workspace and in my entourage.

Im going to ask you one question that will hit hard and I want you to write it down to remind yourself of it:

Why do you cling to illusions only so you can avoid loving yourself?

Love is not something that you earn; it's something that you accept; it's a gift. When you feel so lonely and helpless, there is no value in any other gift.

The moment you start meditating, and the moment you come in contact with your true self, you will immediately feel a warmth within yourself. Love will blossom on its own when you realize your real self.

It is not something that you have to do, it's something you have to stop doing. Stop feeding your illusions, your SOUL needs silence and peace in order to grow.

Until you start listening to your soul, I will be its voice that reminds you.

Because your soul and mine have a long history of love, light, dark, oneness, and evolution, and after decades in silence and solitude, I remember.

We love you dearly.
We are here with you.
We are your family of light.
We are the Galactic Federation.
